Taman Sulthanah Safiatuddin or better known as Taman Ratu Safiatuddin is a mini park in Aceh. Here there are 23 traditional houses representing every district/city in Indonesia’s westernmost province. This traditional house, which is also called an anjungan, has the characteristics of being a house on stilts, made of wood, and does not use nails. The pavilion is a showcase to see the diversity of ethnicities and cultures that grow in society. This arts and culture park is taken from the name of a sulthanah who ruled during the Aceh Darussalam Kingdom in the 17th century, Sri Ratu Tajul Alam Safiatuddin Johan Berdaulat. By the Governor of Aceh at that time, Abdullah Puteh, this place was dedicated to honoring the queen’s services.
