In the interfluve of the Western Dvina River and the mouth of the right bank of the Luzhesnyanka River, 5 km from the city of Vitebsk, there is a natural monument of local importance, the Luzhesnyansky Arboretum. For more than 40 years, through the efforts of teachers and students of the Luzhesnyansky Agrarian College, a unique collection has been collected, currently numbering more than 250 species of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Most of the plants were brought from other regions. The park also contains three species of plants listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus.
