Holy Assumption Cathedral is an Orthodox church in the center of the city on Assumption Hill. It was restored in 2001–11 along the lines of the Assumption Cathedral of the 18th century (taking into account changes during the restructuring of the early 19th century), which was located at this place until its destruction in 1936.
