Lake Serokotnya is located in the Senno district of the Vitebsk region, 34 km to the east of the city of Senno, about 1 km to the south-east of the town of Vitebsk. Bogushevsk, between the villages of Ryabtsevo, Rybnoye, Zavetnaya, Radiant and Kalenki. Refers to the river basin. Serokotnyanka (left tributary of the Luchos river), which flows through the lake. The terrain is predominantly flat, in places ridge-hilly, overgrown with shrubs and woodlands, in places swampy, around (except for the south) there are vast forests.
