Cave dwellings of the Alpilles massif in France seen from the sky

The cave dwelling here is an architecture carved out of the cliff-side rocks of the Alpilles massif. The latter is a mountain range reaching 498 meters above sea level, 25 km long and about 7 km wide. Mainly composed of white limestone rocks, it is located in Bouches-du-Rhone. Since 2006, it has been associated with the Alpilles national natural park.
