Xiaoyao Building is located in Guilin, Guangxi. It was built in the fourth year of Wude in Tang Dynasty (621) and was first built by Li Jing, the general manager of Guizhou. Climbing the building can get a bird’s-eye view of the Lishui peaks. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing, and Xiaoyao Buildings. Xiaoyao Tower was finally destroyed during the Anti-Japanese War.
