Edgar is a customizable 9” ident, designed and animated by Kain X Theory. It features a dominant black skull enclosed within a LED run cube, rotating around its center axis in a vague and dark setting.

Edgar’s unconventional look makes it ideal for underground and street culture brands that don’t like to go with the flow when it comes to their marketing.

The skull and particles are pre-rendered, but the cube itself is entirely customizable in After Effects. It consists of four separate compositions that can be custom designed and animated to your heart’s content. Two primary colors are used throughout the project, and can be easily changed with the click of a button. There’s also the option for a logo version, which replaces the typography packshot with a logo packshot. Edgar takes just thirteen minutes to render on an i7 MacBookPro.

An easy to follow PDF documentation is included to help with customisation. The project is compatible with After Effects CS5 & higher, and no extra plugins are required to edit it.
