Sihanoukville is a city in southern Cambodia, capital of the province of Sihanoukville. Overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, the city is the only deep-water seaport in the country. Baptized in 1958 Sihanoukville in honor of Norodom Sihanouk, former king of Cambodia.
