The German World War II Latvia Cemetery – Beberbeki Latvia located just outside Beberbeki in the middle of the forest this German War Cemetery. It is used to bring together the graves of the surrounding regions. There are now 2,427 graves in this cemetery. The names of 6,600 German soldiers who were buried in Riga but whose graves are covered with a civilian cemetery “2. Meža kaps?ta” are written on columns. Also the names of 1200 POW’s who died are written on separate columns. The location of their graves is unknown.
