Glanum is an ancient city of the Roman Empire. It is dedicated to the healing god Glanis before reaching its peak during the reign of the Roman emperor Augustus. The oldest occupations of the site began in the Bronze Age (1150-800 BC). The foundation of the city of Glanum began in the 6th century BC.
