Lake Borovno is located on the territory of the Beshenkovichi district of the Vitebsk region and belongs to the Chernichanka river basin. The reservoir area is 2.04 km2 with a length of 2 km. and the largest width of 1.4 km. The maximum depth of Lake Borovno is 9.5 m. The reservoir has narrow shallow water. The shores are sandy, mostly low, overgrown with shrubs and light forests. The pond is located in a ridged hilly, overgrown with forests, sometimes marshy terrain. The surrounding forests are rich in strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms. Paid amateur fishing is allowed on the lake and commercial fishing is carried out. Bream, pike, roach, tench, rudd, redfish, perch and other fish species are caught. On the shore of the picturesque Lake Borovno there is a recreation center “Krupenino”, on the territory of which there is a beach equipped with sun loungers, changing cabins and a pier. There is also a boat station.
