Lake Amsheno is located 5 km south-west of Gorodok and belongs to the Usysa river basin. The nearest settlement is the village of Bolshie Stayki, which is adjacent to the western coast. The area of ​​the water table is 0.05 km2. Lake Hamsheno is surrounded on all sides by a forest, which is partly swampy, and thickets of bushes.
