Sihanoukville is a city in southern Cambodia, capital of the province of Sihanoukville. Overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, the city is the only deep sea port in the country. Named in 1958 Sihanoukville in honor of Norodom Sihanouk, former king of Cambodia.
