Lumphini Park (Lumpini Park) is a public park located in the Lumphini district of Bangkok in Thailand, in the heart of the main business district. It covers 57.6 hectares and has a wide variety of trees and an artificial lake. Lumpini Park was created in the 1920s by King Rama VI on royal property. Its name comes from Lumbini, birthplace of the Buddha in Nepal.
