Museum Gazhane is a cultural and artistic space that was opened by the restoration of Istanbul’s last gas station, which met the oil and gas needs of the Anatolian Side of Istanbul for 130 years, and bringing it back to the public on July 9, 2021.

Hasanpaşa Gazhanesi, which served as the second gas station of the Anatolian side, was established in 1891 to meet the lighting and fuel needs of the city. The old Hasanpaşa Gazhanesi was reopened to the use of Istanbulites on July 9, 2021, as a place that houses museums, exhibition areas, cafes and restaurants, theater stages and event spaces in an area of ​​32 thousand square meters. The dilapidated and idle gas works were restored and a magnificent living space was built.
