Renderer is a modern, minimalistic tool for exporting videos, GIFs or sequences in one click directly from After Effects without any third-party software. You can also activate the snapshot mode to instantly save a snapshot of the scene in png by turning off all three export items in the settings (video, gif and sequence). Renderer contains composition templates and will be usefull for exporting graphic materials to social networks such as Behance, Dribbble, Facebook, Google and many others. A huge set of video formats can be rendered for both Windows and Mac (AVI / MOV / MP4 / WEBM / OGV / MPEG / MPG / 3GP / WMV / MKV / FLV / M2V / F4V / VOB). Unfortunately, After Effects removed the ability to export GIFs and mp4 files. Maybe in the near future they will remove the export of sequences and move everything to the Media Encoder. But there is a render problem of color distortion with h.264 and h.265, which has not yet been solved. Advertising sites sometimes ask to change the encoding mode of the h.264 codec from CABAC to CAVLC and Renderer support both of them.
