      Cadouin is a French village located in the south of the Dordogne department, in the Perigord, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The village is part of the commune of Buisson-de-Cadouin which has about 1900 inhabitants called the Caduniens. There is the former Cistercian abbey, the Cadouin abbey, partly listed as historical monuments, as well as the Cadouin hall listed as historical monuments.
