To explore the root growth two barley (Hordeum vulgare) ears were placed in a rhizobox filled with the dirt. Rhizobox was inclined under 45 degrees for positioning of the growing roots closer to the lower wall in response to gravity. Barley ears were grown in rhizobox for 7 days.
