To explore the root growth spelt (Triticum spelta syn. T. aestivum subsp. spelta) grain was placed in a rhizobox filled with the gravel. Rhizobox was inclined under 45 degrees for positioning of the growing roots closer to the lower wall in response to gravity. Spelt grain was grown in rhizobox for 11 days.
